My Background

Developing our Business Community

  • I consider Williamstown, a family and a college town, the best place to live in America. Where else do you find mountains, lakes, and spectacular views of nature in a cultural and intellectual Mecca with a population just over 5000? Not surprisingly, magazines and newspaper surveys have listed Williamstown as among the best places to live and raise a family.

  • Considering our many assets and the very talented people who live in our community, Williamstown should be a very attractive place for the creation of a business or the relocation of a business. Among the types of businesses that would be ideally suited for Williamstown are soft ware development companies.

  • If elected Selectman, I propose the creation of an Economic Development Committee for the purpose of attracting environmentally friendly businesses to Williamstown, which will further diversify and expand our tax base.
